The breakout will begin at 11:00. Competitors are requested to be at the event no later than 30 mins before the start time to allow for registration.
The competitor registration desk will be open from 09:45.
All competitors will need to submit a signed waiver form at registration. Waiver forms will be emailed to competitors before the event and they are asked to bring a signed form with them to speed up registration.
A free bag storage point will be available. It will be manned throughout the event; however valuables are left at the owner’s risk.
Changing and showers
No showers are available.
Toilets will be available at the start/finish point. All competitors are asked to respect the local environment.
What sort of clothing should I wear?
Competitors should wear sensible clothing and footwear suitable for the distance, cross-country terrain and weather on the day... or their best prison fancy dress.
In all cases be prepared: there will be mud/dust; there will be the chance to head "off road"; there will be sweat and perhaps tears.
Physical contact and violence
Physical contact is not part of Prison Breaker. Nor is aggression to any staff or other entrants. No physical contact is required within the event. No entrants are allowed to carry weapons - mock or otherwise.
Timing, results and prizes
Finishing time and results will be made available to all entrants online within 48 hours after the event.
Prizes will be award to the top finishing male and female competitors.
First aiders will be at the event throughout.
Can I volunteer?

Water and refreshments
A water station will be approximately halfway on the course, and another at the finish. Competitors should be hydrated before starting the event and should bring water to fully rehydrate in the hours after the event.
The event is for over-16s. All competitors aged 16-17 years old must have a waiver document signed by a legal guardian and be accompanied by a guardian through the event.
A no refunds policy is in place. Substitutions will generally not be permitted, competitors may contact the event organisers, but any substitution will be at the discretion of the event organisers for exceptional circumstances only. Please email the contact address below.
